JAMES ROGERS

CEO & DIRECTOR

Mr. Rogers is an accomplished mining industry professional who, over the past 13 years, has worked on and developed projects in the Americas, Europe, and Africa.  He was the Principal of Longford Exploration Services and within this role has executed multiple large field exploration and drilling programs for a variety of public and private exploration companies.  Mr. Rogers has a track record of successful M+A, marketing and capital raising. Since 2017, Mr. Rogers and his teams have identified and vended over 90 resource properties to public and private companies, and have largely generated these projects through focused-area selection from large databases while employing a number of GIS, 3D software and remote sensing solutions.

JONATHAN RICHARDS

CFO

Mr. Richards brings over a decade of resource-focused accounting and finance experience to his role as CFO. He has accumulated extensive experience working with TSX and Venture-listed companies, as well as numerous private companies all over the world, particularly with developers and producers in South America. His professional experience has included work on IPO listings on the TSX and TSXV; experience in various debt and equity financing; implementation of ERP systems to manage mining operations; implementation of domestic and international tax planning strategies; and implementation of corporate governance and internal control policies.

FRANCISCO ‘CHICO’ AZEVEDO

VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Mr. Azevedo is a graduate in geology by the University of Brasilia, Brazil, and has 36 years of experience, specializing in the discovery and development of mineral deposits. He started his career initially in Brazil, with Unamgen, a company of GENCOR Group, of South Africa, from 1983 to 1996. He also held the position of Exploration Manager for IAMGOLD Corp, based in Mendoza, Argentina, until 2006. He was in charge of the exploration programs for Gold Fields Limited in South America, from 2006 to 2017, when two important discoveries were made and developed: Chucapaca (now San Gabriel), in Perú, and Salares Norte, in Chile. Mr. Azevedo brings his extensive experience in all processes required for the discovery and development of mineral deposits across South America.

LATIKA PRASAD

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Ms. Prasad has been an Officer and Director of private and publicly traded companies for over 30 years. She is one of the founders of Turmalina and was a Director and Officer of Turmalina from April 2017 to July 2019, and returned to the board in July 2020 (TSX.V: TBX). Ms. Prasad’s experience ranges from private start-ups to mid-tier market cap public companies in the mining and technology industries, and encompasses corporate finance, private placements, IPO’s and RTOs.

LAURA BASTIAS

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Ms. Bastias is a lawyer with over 10 years’ experience in mining law. She is currently a partner at San Juan legal firm Bastias Yacante Abogados, where she acts as the mining legal advisor to numerous major and junior mining firms operating in the region. She has also held various legal, environmental and permitting roles with Minera Los Pelambres, Golden Mining S.A. and Sable Resources Ltd. Laura has particular experience in legal and legislative analysis, due diligence, negotiations, structuring agreements and capital risk analysis.

Luis miguel inchaustegui zevallos

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

Luis Miguel Inchaustegui Zevallos was born in Lima, Peru and is a lawyer graduated from the University of Lima, with an MBA from the San Ignacio de Loyola University and has taken Negotiation courses at the Kellogg School Management of Northwestern University.

Mr. Inchaustegui is a consultant on strategic issues, corporate affairs and sustainable development, currently advises some mining companies when required, is an independent director of Alta Copper (before Candente Copper),OCP Cobriza, APC Corporacion, is a consultant for a transparency initiative in Peru carried out by the organization Resources For Development (R4D), writes articles in business and mining newspapers in Peru and participates as a speaker in some events on governance, mining and shared value.

Mr. Inchaustegui has more than 28 years of experience in the mining sector, during his years of experience, he has been Minister of Energy and Mines from August to November 2020, Consultant for External Products and Services (PEC) of the Inter-American Development Bank from March to August 2020 , Independent Director of Turmalina Metals Corp in 2019 and 2020, he has also served as Vice Minister of Mines from May 2018 to April 2019 and as Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Sustainable Development of Gold Fields La Cima SA from April 2012 to September 2017 and as Vice President of Government Affairs and Deputy General Manager of Lumina Copper (Galeno project)

BRYAN SLUSARCHUK

ADVISOR

Mr. Slusarchuk co-founded gold producer K92 Mining Inc., a company he was President and Director of from inception through to cash flow positive commercial mining production. K92 shareholder performance was recently recognized via being named to the 2020 TSX Venture 50 and to the 2020 OTCQX Best 50 (K92 was also a 2019 TSX Venture 50 and 2019 OTCQX Best 50 company). Mr. Slusarchuk is also a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fosterville South Exploration Ltd. Mr. Slusarchuk has over 20 years international experience in structuring, funding and operating companies involved in mineral exploration, development and production. In addition to experience operationally and in the conducting of equity raises, Mr. Slusarchuk has structured complex debt financing transactions in the United States, Canada and Europe with multiple top tier banks. Mr. Slusarchuk is a past TEDx speaker on the topic of capital markets and is a member of multiple mining industry advocacy associations in emerging markets, through which he has regularly advised various governments on the formation of mining policy.

DOUG KIRKWIN

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Doug Kirwin is an Australian geologist with 48 years of international exploration experience. He commenced his career in Papua New Guinea with Anglo American in 1970 and later worked for AMAX in southern Asia, Mexico and the Pacific. From 1985 to 1995 Doug formed an independent consulting company working mostly in southeast Asia.

He was Executive Vice President for Ivanhoe Mines from 1996 to 2012 and a founding director of Ivanhoe Mines Australia. As a member of the joint discovery team for the discovery of the Hugo Dummett ore body at Oyu Tolgoi, Mr Kirwin was a co-recipient of the PDAC Thayer Lindsley medal awarded for the most significant discovery in 2004. Some of Mr Kirwin’s exploration teams’s discoveries and significant mineral resource expansions include a VMS base metal mine in Jalisco, Mexico, three epithermal silver-gold mines in South Korea, the Seruyung gold mine in Kalimantan, the Monywa copper and Moditaung gold mines in Myanmar and the Swan and Merlin deposits in Cloncurry, Australia.

Doug has an MSC in mineral exploration from James Cook University where he is currently an adjunct professor of geology. He is the current president of the Society of Economic Geologists and is passionate about student training and development.

JOHN LEWINS

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Mr. Lewins is a Mineral Engineer with over 35 years’ experience in the mining industry having worked in Africa, Australia, Asia, North America and the former Soviet Union. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of K92 Mining Inc having served as Chief Operating Officer from May 2016 to August 2017. He has been responsible for managing the development and operations of numerous gold mining projects in Australia (Tom’s Gully, Tick Hill & Nolan’s), South Africa (Harmony Central) and Armenia (Ararat/Zod) as well as Lead – Zinc in Australia (McArthur River), Copper in Mongolia (Erdmin) and Platinum in South Africa (Smokey Hills).

Mr. Lewins has operated extensively at the corporate level in various roles from Executive General Manager to Director and Chief Executive Officer with a number of mining companies, including K92 Mining Inc, MIM Holdings, First Dynasty Mines, Platinum Australia and African Thunder Platinum.

DR. ROHAN WOLFE

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Dr. Wolfe is a graduate of CODES, University of Tasmania, where he gained a PhD in Economic Geology specializing in copper-gold porphyry and breccia systems. Rohan has over 22 years of experience in exploration and development of copper, gold and molybdenum systems throughout Asia, Australia, the Middle East and South America. Rohan lead the discovery and development of the high-grade Kharmagtai porphyry and tourmaline copper-gold breccias for Ivanhoe Mines Mongolia, as Exploration Manager for Ivanhoe Mines Australia he was part of the award-winning discovery team for the Merlin molybdenum-rhenium ore body and as Vice President Exploration he was a founding member of South-American focused explorer HPX. Dr. Wolfe brings extensive experience in the discovery and development of copper-gold systems and building exceptional exploration teams.
